The Federation triples incentive grants for 1st-time summer campers

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED ON A FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED BASIS!

Working with its partner, One Happy Camper, the Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey has tripled the number of 1st-time Jewish summer camp incentive grants it will offer for summer, 2016. The grants are available for young people who have not previously participated in or are currently participating in another immersive Jewish experience, such as camp or Jewish day school.

To find out more about the program and its criteria, and apply, go to jewishcamp.org/one-happy-camper

Because the applications are being evaluated and processed on first come-first served rolling basis, those who are interested are encouraged to apply immediately.

"Joyful, immersive experiences at a young age, such as Jewish summer camp, have been shown to result in stronger Jewish identity and community participation among Jewish adults," according to Keith Krivitzky, CEO of the Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey. "The Federation is proud to have tripled our investment to incentivize  people to try Jewish camping."
