As New Jersey's COVID-19 stay-at-home orders remain in place, Jewish Federation in the Heart of NJ is working with neighboring Federations to customize health and safety guidelines for synagogues and other Jewish organizations planning a return to on-site work and worship when the time is right.
This weekend, Federation released BUILDING A RE-ENTRY PLAN FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION to nearly 100 congregations, schools, human service agencies, and community and cultural centers across Monmouth and Greater Middlesex counties. The move is the latest in our COVID-related work convening partners on topics from fostering Jewish life online and caring for people in need to applying for Federal Stimulus loans and safeguarding physical and cyber security.
While certain guidelines suggest our ways of assembling may look different in the near term, they are firmly based in a shared commitment to Jewish community; Jewish values of sharing and caring; and a strong and joyful Jewish future.
