If you would like to pay your pledge via credit card, please note that we will gladly accept your credit card payment on the phone at (732) 588-1809 or on our website at jewishheartnj.org/donate, no later than Monday, December 31, 2019.

If you are mailing in a check, all checks must be dated and postmarked by Monday, December 31, 2019 to ensure a 2019 tax deduction.

GIVING STOCK
If you are using appreciated stock, it is important that you contact our office at (732) 588-1812, and provide us with the donor’s name, name of the security, and number of shares being transferred by Thursday, December 26, 2019. Please note our office is closed on Christmas Day, December 25.

The stock must be transferred into our Muriel Siebert account by Tuesday, December 31, 2019 to ensure a 2019 tax benefit.

IRA ROLLOVER TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS
The IRA Charitable Rollover provision permits individuals 70 1/2 or older to donate up to $100,000 annually from their IRAs to charities without having to count the distribution as taxable income. The donation counts toward the donor’s Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). The provision allows for rollover directly to charitable organizations such as The Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey, but NOT to “Donor Advised Funds.”
