For three years, Barry Jacobsen worked for Max Liebman, the creator and producer of the television show Your Show of Shows -- a live, 90-minute variety show broadcast weekly on NBC in the 1950s, featuring such stars as Sid Caesar, Imogene Coca, Carl Reiner, and others. Barry also worked with noted author Ted Sennett, who at the time was writing the definitive book about Your Show of Shows.
These days, Barry is busy doing presentations to senior groups. He discusses his experiences working for Max, shows actual kinescope clips from the show, and provides memorabilia for all to see from Max’s extensive collection. Don't miss this trip down memory lane!
