Jewish Federation in the Heart of NJ presents a Yom HaShoah commemoration.
Imagine watching Schindler’s List knowing the Nazi commandant of Camp Plaszow, Amon Göth, was your father. Inheritance tells the story of Göth's daughter, Monika Hertwig, and her struggle to come to terms with her “inheritance.”
Helen Jonas was the Jewish housekeeper enslaved by Göth — and one of the few living eyewitnesses to his unspeakable brutality.
The two met in an emotional return to Plaszow, accompanied by Helen's daughter, Vivian Delman, who will lead our discussion following the film screening.
Film Screening: April 21-28 (independently)
Discussion: April 28, 2022 | 7:00 PM on Zoom
