About "The Immigrant"

Russian-Jewish emigre Haskell Harelik arrives at the port of Galveston, Texas, in
1909 seeking refuge from his homeland. With only his banana cart in tow, Haskell
finds compassion and friendship from an unlikely couple, falls in love,
and creates a pastoral life for his family.

George Street Playhouse will stage a production of "The Immigrant" March 12 - April 7

The Federation is offering an exclusive performance and talk back of "The Immigrant" Sunday, March 17, to Women's Philanthropy Pomegranates, women who give $1800 or more annually, and Lions of Judah, those who give $5000 or more annually.
