The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County will expand its hours and remain open to the public on six Wednesday evenings during July and August, from 6 PM to 9 PM, with various programs offered at 7 PM.

The first summer evening program is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at 7 PM, as the Museum presents The Monmouth Folk Dancers, In an Evening of Performance and Participation: Dances from Israel and Other Countries and Cultures Around the World. Admission is $5, students free.

The dance company’s repertoire comes from countries and borderless cultures around the world, including Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, and more. Dances may be in circles, lines, couples, and sets. Partners or previous dance experience are not necessary. We recommend dressing casually and wearing comfortable shoes for those who wish to participate.

This program is made possible in part by the Monmouth County Historical Commission through funding from the New Jersey Historical Commission of the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

For more information or to make a paid reservation (non-refundable), call the Museum at 732-252-6990, or visit jhmomc.org/events. Maximum capacity is 100, so paid reservations are recommended.
