The cantorial Shabbaton features Hazzan Jeffrey Weber. Hazzan Weber will lead Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma'ariv (5:30 PM) . Following services there will be a Shabbat dinner, the only event of the Shabbaton with a fee and requiring a reservation. After dinner the Hazzan will discuss his personal journey to becoming a Conservative cantor.

Shabbat morning, after leading the Shacharit and Musaf services (beginning at 8:45 AM), Hazzan Weber will speak about "Zeidel Rovner - From Russia with Love (of Jewish Music). After Kiddush he will discuss "Flory jagoda - Jewish Music From Sarajevo."

Prior to becoming a cantor, Hazzan Jeffrey Weber performed with the New York City Opera and the Metropolitan Opera. He has appeared at Tanglewood and Aspen Music Festival and Lake George and Sarasota Operas, and other national companies.
