Modern Orthodox Rabbi and Author Rabbi Shmuly Yanklowitz will discuss ways to "Find our roots in sacred text" at Monmouth Reform Temple on Saturday December 15. Rabbi Shmuly has been named one of the 50 most influential Jews (Rabbis) in America. The program starts at 10 a.m. with Saturday morning worship followed by a talk, "Jewish Pluralism: How Can We Disagree But Still Remain One People?" Buffet lunch will follow. Afternoon session begins at 12:45, "Where is Our Moral Courage? Jewish Justice in Our Time". Then following a break for coffee, Rabbi Shmuly will lead a discussion, "Interfaith Engagement: The Dignity of Difference". The daylong program is MRT's Shabbat Kallah, made possible by a generous bequest of Past President Robert Rosin.
