Join us for an inspiring art program. We will create a Havdalah and Shabbat sensory box filled with original handcrafted ritual items you can use every week. Enjoy an interactive reading of one of our favorite PJ Library stories, investigate why Friday night to Saturday night is a special time of the week, and learn some tools of relaxation and joy to help us usher in and embrace shabbat. Learn hand building ceramics strategies for making candle holders, work with beeswax to make our own candles, plant spices you can use for our homemade spice pouches, bedazzle your kiddush cup, paint and decorate elaborate challah covers and your shabbat sensory box!
