Meet Mamta Chaudhry , author of Haunting Paris
Haunting Paris is an evocative story of love and loss that explores the grief from losing a partner, the protective conspiracies of family secrets, and the power of memory. The story moves between the summer of 1989 and Paris in July of 1942, at the time of the infamous Val D’Hiv Roundup. This poignant debut novel is both a love letter to Paris and an exposure of the dark side of the City of Light.
Mamta Chaudhry has worked in television and radio in Calcutta, Texas and Florida. Her writing has been published in the Miami Review, The Statesman, and The Telegraph. This is her first novel.
