Professor Andrew Meyer, Brooklyn College, inaugurates a series of themed discussions featuring Jewish novelists who won the Pulitzer Prize. Dr. Meyer will narrate details of Malamud's life and invites discussion of his work.
His best-known books - "The Fixer", "The Assistant", and "The Natural" will be highlighted. "The Natural" became an iconic film about baseball, starring Robert Redford.
