The relationship between Israel and the American Jewish community is - and has been - complex, reflecting the maturation of Israel as a state and a society, and the diversity of Jews in America. Martin Raffel, former senior vice president and director of the Task Force on Israel, World Jewry & International Human Rights at the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) will discuss the current state of the close and complicated relationship between Israel and the American Jewish community.

Raffel is well connected with US and Israeli elected and communal leadership and is a frequent contributor to the New Jersey Jewish News.
