Join The Daniel Pearl Education Center for "Intersection Point: A Conversation on Religion and Race with Rabbi Tiferet Berenbaum." Rabbi Tiferet Berenbaum of Temple Beth Zion in Brookline, Massachusetts has a front seat at the intersection of race, racism and religion, giving her valuable insights into how different groups of people see the world and refining her powers of empathy. In her words, “At this time, we need to reach out to vulnerable groups in our society. We need to model overcoming ignorance and fear in favor of understanding and relationships. When we genuinely ask questions and seek understanding, we build trust that leads to strong relationships.”  Rabbi Tiferet Berenbaum will be a guest speaker at Shabbat Services on Friday evening, Nov. 8th at 8:00pm at Temple B’nai Shalom, 15 Fern Road, East Brunswick.  Email dpeccommittee@gmail.com for more information.
