The new program is called Lunch, Learn and re’Lax, and each cohort meets five times over the course of the year on Shabbat afternoon. We’ll take some time to eat, then some time to learn, and finally have some time to hang out with our friends. We have 4 cohorts: our lower elementary (K-2), our upper elementary (3-5), our middle school (6-8), and our high school (9-12). Our lower elementary will take some time to explore the holidays with stories, activities and more. Our upper elementary will look at what it means to be a Mensch, learning about Jewish values. Our middle and high school cohorts have a unique chance to determine what they want to learn. They’ll get to decide what they want to dig into. Our first Middle School class will be on Harry Potter and Judaism, and the first High School class is on the Science of Noah’s Ark (at your children’s request.)

This program is meant for children of all backgrounds. Whether you have no Jewish learning, you attend a Hebrew School, or you go to a Jewish Day school, this program is for you. So please join us as we start a new chapter in the book of HPCT-CAE.
