Start the school year by giving back to our community through a morning of volunteering!
This is a unique opportunity to learn about the Jewish ritual called genizah, burying sacred Jewish texts, from a local Rabbi. Then we will help a synagogue bury their old High Holiday prayer books. This ensures that the texts are given the respect they deserve while making room for new ones for the upcoming Jewish New Year. This will be a meaningful way to connect with the community and learn about the importance of preserving sacred traditions.
We aim to inspire the next generation to embrace Jewish life and follow in the way of our ancestors.
