Ever hear about Shabbetai Tzvi or Ada Yonath? Throughout history, there have been individuals who have done amazing things that altered history and people's lives in a profound way. Unfortunately, history has a way of forgetting, or just not recognizing, the accomplishments of these "forgotten” luminaries. During their lifetime they made the world a better place for their contemporaries and for the generations that followed. Rabbi Klein’s talk will focus on some of these individuals, who happen to be Jewish and did much for the Jewish people and others as well but are sadly unknown by most.
Funding has been made possible in part by a general operating support grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a Division of the Department of State, through grant funds administered by the Monmouth County Historical Commission.
