In honor of the International Day of Holocaust Remembrance, the Center for Holocaust, Human Rights, & Genocide Education (Chhange) invites you to join us on Monday, February 4th for a one-night viewing of "Etty," a one-woman play by Susan Stein.

Etty Hillesum’s life ended at Auschwitz when she was only 29 years old. In the play Etty (drawn entirely from Hillesum’s diaries and letters from 1941 to 1943) Susan Stein embodies a remarkable young Dutch woman: insightful, determined, poetic, sensual.

Etty’s words, insights, and beliefs reach out from the Holocaust and allow us to see the power of hope and individual thought in the most extreme circumstances.

Susan Stein uses Etty’s diaries to share the honest words of this Holocaust victim with audiences around the world. For more information about "Etty" visit www.Ettyplay.org.
