Performer: Joe Gilligan (Joey G.)

Joey G. will take you on a journey through the era that musical historians call the "Fabulous 50s" and "the Decade of Music that Changed the World". In ten short years, radio stations would go from playing Sinatra to airing the musical likes of teenagers across the entire country and a new genre of music - "Rock N Roll". With the invention of television, the entire country would see a young man they would simply call "Elvis" and hear a new music that would change the way we would listen to music forever The show includes interesting stories, a bit of comedy, facts about the 50's era and of course, Joey G. will perform tunes sung by Sinatra, Elvis, Dean Martin, Johnny Mathis, Johnnie Ray, Dion and the Belmonts, The Duprees and more of your favorites. Let's listen to the entertainer
and reminisce!
Joey G. began singing professionally at the age of 13 and opened for Andrea McArdle (Annie on Broadway), Paul Williams, and many top acts of the 50's, among them Bobby Rydell, The Drifters, and The Earls.
