David Sarnoff, founder of the Radio Corporation of America "RCA", is often regarded as the ruthless self-promoter who brought television to the U.S. through his company. Sarnoff deserves more recognition for his patriotic dedication to, and optimism for the uses of wireless communications in peace and war: from Morse code to broadcasting, from television to his vision of a smartphone.
