Dear Temple Family,

We have been in the process of evaluating and reassessing how to best serve our congregation during this distressing time. Today the picture is different than it was even yesterday. Please read this entire message and make note of the following changes, beginning with tonight. We wish you a Shabbat Shalom.

Starting tonight, Friday night services will be streamed at https://www.edisontemple.org/livestream and we ask that everyone enjoy the services from the comfort and safety of their homes. There will be no attendance in person.

Torah study starting tomorrow will be done via Zoom. See information below about how to login to Zoom.

Peter Pan is postponed.

Religious school is canceled. Look for an email with instructions on some at home learning activities.

All Adult Ed/Lifelong Learning will either be canceled or done via Zoom. Please look for an email about that if you are enrolled and see below for instructions on how to log in.

Tot Shabbat on Friday March 20 and until further notice is canceled.

Super Science Sunday is canceled for next weekend.

The office staff will be working remotely. Therefore the temple office will be closed. However voice messages and emails will be received so should you need to reach anyone then please email or call. The Temple's phone number is 732-549-4442. You can reach Dana Shectman, Temple Administrator, by calling extension 104 or emailing officemgr@edisontemple.org. You can reach Ellen Hochman, Administrative Assistant, by calling extension 107 or emailing admin.assist@edisontemple.org.

Clergy will be available at all times via phone and email so please call the temple office and they will make appointments to speak to anyone who needs assistance or just needs to talk. Again, the Temple's phone number is 732-549-4442. You can reach Rabbi Gutterman by calling extension 101 or emailing rabbigutterman@edisontemple.org. You can reach Cantor Kohn by calling extension 102 or emailing cantorkohn@edisontemple.org

For Torah study, committee meetings, and Lifelong Learning we will be using Zoom. For those of you who have never used Zoom, It is best to take the Zoom meeting via a computer with a camera and microphone on it.

Go to https://zoom.us/download and download the app. Then all you have to do is click on the link below and then select join with computer audio and join with video. If you don’t have a camera or microphone on your computer, you can download the Zoom app on your smart phone and take it from there. In the worst case, you can dial the phone number listed below and just listen.
