To Our MRT Family,
The safety of our congregants is our foremost consideration. Following the guidelines of local and state health officials regarding the spread of COVID 19 (Coronavirus), we have decided to close Monmouth Reform Temple for two weeks.
All temple meetings and programs are cancelled until March 26, when an assessment will be made about resuming activities. Shabbat services, beginning tonight, will be available only through Live Streaming. Access to Live Streaming can be found through an icon at the top of the home page of our website. Please tune into our livestream on Fridays at 7 pm for Shabbat service attendance.
MRT Religious School is closed; there will be no school March 15 through March 25. Educator Magda Reyes will send a separate email to our school families with more detailed information.
During this emergency, Rabbi Kline (732-575-2088) and Cantor Clissold (732-688-0661) are available directly on their cell phones for all of your pastoral needs. Please contact Magda Reyes (609-558-3322) for any school-related questions. Do not call the temple office.
For now, stay home with your families, rest, drink plenty of fluids, and wash your hands. Let us remember that we are a caring community who lean on each other for support. Please read all communications from the temple as the situation is continually changing and we want to keep everyone safe and informed.
Wishing you good health!
