You are invited to join us for a new hands-on culinary adventure called "Cooking in Hebrew,” for English speakers. If you love food and wants to learn more about Israeli cooking and culture - please join us!
This unique workshop, sponsored by the World Zionist Organization Department for Diaspora Activities, will be led by Ravit Bar-Av. Ravit is a social entrepreneur who helps organizations to achieve their goals and build strong communities. She has taught and lectured on the Israeli society and Hebrew/Israeli culture as well as created educational programs. She also provides community enrichments events via "Link - by Ravit Bar-Av". Ravit loves to cook especially ethnic dishes that remind her of her mother's Yemenite/Israeli kitchen that was always filled with spices and food made with love.
The workshop includes 3 sessions, on Tuesdays at 7-10pm, from March to May, at a private residence in East Brunswick (address to be disclosed upon registration).
Each session will focus on a different theme that correlates with the Jewish/Israeli calendar. We will spend time together, chatting, telling stories, sharing memories and cooking delicious recipes related to the monthly theme. At the end of each session, we will sit around the table and feast!
The rate for all 3 sessions: $90 (only $30 per session)
The rate for a single session: $35
Please save the dates below :
3/12/19 Purim session (Misloach Manot)
4/9/19 Passover session (traditional recipes)
