The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents Cinema Song Gems performed by Meredith Buchholtz on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 2 PM. Admission is $10 members, $12 non-members.
Meredith Buchholtz is a versatile performer with a vast background in both musical theater and opera. She has always had an affinity for movie musicals and classic cinema, most notably those of the 1920s through 1950s where the presence and influence of Jewish composers and performers dominated Hollywood. She is delighted to present a vocal program showcasing such iconic composers as Irving Berlin, George and Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Richard
Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein, Harold Arlen, and many others.
This program is made possible in part by the Monmouth County Historical Commission through funding from the New Jersey Historical Commission of the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
