The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County is sponsoring this Bus Trip to Lower Manhattan to tour the Kehila Kedosh Janina Romaniote (Greek) Synagogue, enjoy lunch at the Essex Market, and tour the Eldridge Street Synagogue and Museum. Kehila Kedosha Synagogue is the only Romaniote synagogue in the Western Hemisphere. The Eldridge Street Synagogue, built in 1887, was the first great house of worship of the Eastern European Jewish immigrants in the United States.
