Neve Shalom presents three outstanding authors of new books at the Donald & Ruth Kahn Book & Author Event on March 22 at 10 am. Talia Carner fictionalizes the shocking true story of young Jewish girls from Russia who were trafficked into prostitution in Buenos Aires in her novel "The Third Daughter." Eileen Pollack’s novel, "The Professor of Immortality", is inspired by the true story of the Unibomber and blends crime thriller and family drama. And in the novel "The Family Tabor", Cherise Wolas explores the price we pay for second chances when the five Tabors are forced to confront the falsehoods upon which their lives are built. The event is at 250 Grove Avenue in Metuchen and is free and open to the public; refreshments will be available at 9:30 am. Books will be on sale and authors will sign books after the program.
