Neve Shalom Sisterhood is pleased to host Author and Educator, Miriam Dobin, who will speak about her memoir I Am Because of You. Miriam's mother, Olga was 48 years old and her father, Morris was 56 when she was born; Miriam is a second generation and only child of Holocaust survivors who was raised by her four parents.
Past and future converged during a trip to Eastern Europe which led to new discoveries about Miriam's family and uncovered hidden information that she never imagined she would find. Miriam is an actual living legacy, a fact she has never taken for granted.
