The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents Arthur L. Finkle, Shofar sounder, author, educator, historian, mediator on “Shofar History and Technique” on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 2 PM. Admission is $3 members, $5 non-members, students free.

Finkle will facilitate a discussion and demonstration of the Shofar, its history, musicality, and religious significance by the author of “Shofar: History, Technique and Jewish Law (2015) and The Easy Guide to Shofar Sounders” (2000).
Arthur L. Finkle is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rutgers University with a MGA degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a certificate in Religious Education form the Hebrew Union College, Cincinnati, Ohio.

This program is made possible in part by the Monmouth County Historical Commission through funding from the New Jersey Historical Commission of the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

The Jewish Heritage Museum is located in the Mounts Corner Shopping Center, at 310 Mounts Corner Drive Freehold, NJ, at the corner of Route 537 and Wemrock Road (between the CentraState Medical Center and Freehold Raceway Mall). It is on the second floor of the historic Levi Solomon Barn. The JHMOMC is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Museum is handicapped and assisted listening accessible.
