Ken Sutak- Cinema Judaica

Ken Sutak is the author of two Cinema Judaica books, producer of two HUC-JIR museum exhibits of the same name and he is the donor of the Cinema Judaica Collection located at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
He will examine the Jewish heroines, heroes and history taken from the poster art of the postwar cycle of spectacular epic films such as: Gregory Peck as King David; Charlton Heston as Moses in "The Commandments"; Paul Newman as Ari Ben Canaan in "Exodus", and more. He will discuss how these Jewish Cinema heroes have impacted the larger American society.

Arrangements for Ken Sutak were through the Jewish Book Council that serves to promote the reading, writing, publication, distribution, and public awareness of books that reflect the rich variety of the Jewish experience.
