Princeton Pro Musica performs Annelies, the first full-length choral work based on Anne Frank: the Diary of a Young Girl. Composer James Whitbourn brings Anne's voice to life with stirring, evocative music for chorus and chamber ensemble. Anne's inner, spiritual life is revealed, as are her unique observations of both life inside the Annex and the world beyond. A free pre-concert lecture will be given at 3:00 p.m. by Dr. Elayne Robinson Grossman, the conductor and music director of Sharim V’Sharot, a Jewish chamber choir based in central New Jersey.
