"America's Baritone", the award winning, William Michals has had a varied stage, concert and studio career. Most recently he starred as Emile De Becque in the landmark revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific at Lincoln Center. He has had major roles in musicals, singing with symphonies and in the classical world, performing with well-known stars of the stage, screen and television. Having performed in the most renowned theaters on Broadway and across the country, TV, radio, Music Festivals, and the US Capitol, Michals was personally called upon by Mayor Rudy Guiliani to perform a solo on December 11, 2001 Ground Zero memorial Service. Some of the many shows he has performed in are Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, Chicago, Man of La Mancha, The Music Man, The Sound of Music, Phantom and The Scarlet Pimpernel.
