Guided Tour of the World Famous

Enjoy some of their signature dishes
at lunch
This fascinating tour focuses not only on the hotel’s unique historic and architectural heritage, but also on its’ legacy as an unparalleled culinary innovator and gourmet destination. The tour begins in the Main Lobby and proceeds to the Park Avenue Lobby. Walk the dazzling Silver Corridor to the magnificent four-story Grand Ballroom. The elegant Basildon Room and The Starlight Roof, complete the tour of public spaces. (Venues based on availability.)

A final highlight is the visit to a top suite in The Waldorf Towers, the preferred New York residence of heads-of-state, royalty, Hollywood celebrities and corporate moguls, and home to New York’s only true Presidential Suite --- where every American President – since Herbert Hoover – stays when in New York. You’ll also walk through the Waldorf Museum, just off the Main Lobby, which offers a fascinating “time capsule” peek at the hotel’s famous guests. Sidewalk windows outside the hotel have been turned into a walking museum, as well, highlighting the hotel’s architectural history and landmark Art Deco heritage.

After our tour we’ll enjoy an elegant lunch including such signature dishes as the Waldorf Salad and Red Velvet cake (full menu provided upon registration). Kosher available. See below.
