Parents: explore how today’s understanding of child development is illuminated and supported by thousands of years of Jewish wisdom, from the author of the new parenting book, The Joys & Oys of Parenting: Insight and Wisdom from the Jewish Tradition.

Dr. Elias offers both inspiration and practical advice for parents – with kids of all ages – seeking a way out of the confusion and exhaustion that can often characterize family life, so we can address the oys of parenting while still embracing its joys.

While parents are exploring parenting oys and joys with Dr. Elias, their children aged 3 – 12 are invited to explore the Joy of Being Jewish, with Sherri Lerner and a team of teachers. They’ll learn about the holiday of Tu B’Shevat, the new year for trees and do a fun, age-appropriate project that will enhance their understanding of the holiday.

Both programs are FREE and open to the public, but Reservations are Requested for the children attending the program. (The children’s program is available to children aged 3 – 12 whose parents are attending the parent program.)
