The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County will expand its hours and remain open to the public on several Thursday evenings during July and August from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with various programs offered at 6:30 p.m. each week. The first of these programs will be “The Genealogy Project,” on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 6:30 PM with Marc Diament, Board Trustee and Genealogy Committee Chair. Join him and learn how to record your family tree and do research on your ancestors using the Museum’s MyHeritage.com search-enabled account.

Participants can also share critical information about the Jewish community including from where families have come, where they go to pray, how many keep kosher and intriguing details like what kind of bagel is most preferred by you and your neighbors and which is the best bagel shop in Monmouth/Middlesex/Ocean counties. Working together, we can start to weave a story of our community and leave behind for future generations the great gift of knowing from where we came. Admission is $3 members, $5 non-members, students free.
