Mr. Levy returns to the JCC to discuss how the influence of Nazism spread throughout the Middle East, with a focus on Iraq and the major role that the Mufti of Jerusalem played in spreading the Nazi influence.

In June 1941 the violence erupted in a pogrom, known as the Farhud, Arabic for violent dispossession, causing the deaths of almost 200 Iraqi Jews and left thousands of homes and businesses ransacked. The impact on Iraqi Jewry lasted for many, many years.
