Speaker: Professor Bilal Ibrahim
Topic: The Eastern Philosophical Tradition: Jewish, Christian & Muslim Dialogue in the Islamic World
Bilal Ibrahim specializes in the history of philosophy, theology, and science in the Islamic world. He graduated from McGill University and was a postdoctoral fellow at UC Berkeley before joining Brooklyn College in 2015. His research focuses on the cross-pollination of various traditions of philosophy, theology, and science in the largely unexplored post-1200 period of Islamic history.
