If you have ever felt ‘lost’ during synagogue prayer services (“davening”) and you want to learn the “what”s, “how”s, and “why"s of various parts of the Shabbat morning service, come to our monthly Learners’ Minyan, which will be led by Cantor Adi Wyner. In addition to learning the prayers themselves, you will also learn the choreography of the service. In no time, you’ll learn when and why to stand, sit, put your feet together, put your hands over your eyes, and bend your knees while davening. Learners' Minyan, which will take place on the 4th Shabbat of every month at Temple Beth Ahm (550 Lloyd Road in Aberdeen), is free and open to the community. All you need to bring is your willingness to learn and any questions that you may have about topics related to Jewish prayers!
