Attorney Samuel B Cohen to speak on Free Speech

FREE SPEECH & THE FIRST AMENDMENT
Samuel B Cohen practices law in New York. He co-chairs the Civil Rights & Liberties Committee of the NY County Lawyers’ Association (NYCLA) and sits on its Justice Advisory Board. Mr. Cohen teaches and moderates continuing legal education courses on civil rights litigation for attorneys, and was awarded a US Congressional Citation for his outreach and education work in Harlem and other underserved communities.
Cohen received his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School. He served as legal affairs director for the NY Dance Parade, and was hired as an associate by prominent NY attorney Wylie M Stecklow. Named a SuperLawyers “Rising Star” for 2014 & 2015, Mr. Cohen was awarded the NYCLA “Rising Leader of the Bar” in 2014.
Raised in Monmouth County, and a graduate of CBI’s Hebrew High School, Mr. Cohen also taught elementary school at CBI. Cited by fellow attorneys for his intelligence, dedication and caring, he also receives accolades from clients.
