Rabbi Mishkin leads discussions of Jewish customs and practices, focusing on rabbinic reasoning behind many of the customs and traditions that we practice to this day. Sample topics include observance of Sabbath and holidays, life-cycle events and customs involving familial relationships. There is no cost to attend for members of Beth Ohr. Non-members are welcome but are requested to donate $5 per session to the synagogue.
