Continuing its “Tuesdays Mornings at the Museum” program and in conjunction with its upcoming exhibit Voices & Visions: Master Series, The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County is offering a Jewish Journaling workshop called Jewish Journaling: Visions and Voices, workshop inspired by the poster exhibit.
The exhibit is a series of 18 posters which pairs leading figures of contemporary art and design with powerful quotes from Jewish thinkers across the ages. The posters are signed by master Jewish designers such as Seymour Chwast, R. O. Blechman, Carin Goldberg, and Milton Glaster, and were commissioned by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation in 2012. They are a gift to the Museum from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. The Voices & Visions concept was inspired by the Container Corporation of America’s Great Ideas series.
The Journaling project will be under the direction of Michele Bernstein Klausner, Certified Journal Facilitator. The first group of sessions is scheduled for six Tuesday mornings, beginning February 16, 2016 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM through March 22, 2016. The price is $5.00 per session (or $25 total for all six sessions). Participants may attend one or more sessions.
Ms. Klausner is an internationally known journal-writing consultant and her sense of humor and gentle approach create a comfortable, relaxed, and creative environment. Her goal is to help participants discover the personal joy, creative empowerment, magic, and ease of journal writing. Please bring a notebook or a journal.
