If you are trying to navigate the rough waters of divorce and separation you don’t have to do it alone. Divorce and separation can be overwhelming. If you are experiencing sorrow you are not alone. There are others who feel (and have felt) your pain. This group is intended to provide emotional support to persons going through divorce or separation. Even in divorce there is still hope for a better future.

In this safe, Jewish setting, some topics we may explore include:

Adjusting from married life to single life
Changes in your relationships with others
Self Discovery
Mourning the loss of your marriage
Finding a compassionate support system
Raising your self esteem
Pursuing healthy relationships and dating
Dealing with anger, shame, doubt and rejection
Visitation and co-parenting

Both women and men are welcome to attend this group which will meet at the JCC for six weeks on Thursday evenings from 8:00-9:00 pm beginning November 3, 2016. Cost is $50. A short phone intake is required prior to registration. Please call Lincoln Richman at 732-494-3232 extension 3627.

Facilitator: Lincoln Richman, MSW
Lincoln holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Graduate Certificate in Jewish Studies from Rutgers University.
