The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County is pleased to announce that a new exhibit has been unveiled at the Monmouth County Library - Headquarters at 125 Symmes Dr., off of Route 9 in Manalapan, NJ.  From Peddler to Philanthropist – The Story of the German Jews of Monmouth County, features the story of the German Jews who settled in Monmouth and built communities, synagogues, and businesses, as well as the story of the wealthy German-Jewish financiers and industrialists who spent summers in their elegant mansions on Monmouth’s Jersey Shore during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  The exhibit, housed in the display cases in the lobby, will run through November.

The library’s regular hours are Mon-Thurs:  9AM to 9 PM; Fri 9AM – 5 PM; Sat 9AM to 5PM; Sun 1PM – 5PM.
