East Brunswick Jewish Center, 511 Ryders Lane, is very pleased to host an exhibit in its Gallery of the work of Calligrapher Stephen Cohen.

For over 25 years, area-resident Stephen Cohen has been doing calligraphy and art in Hebrew, Yiddish, English and even Greek. His work has been exhibited publicly in Houston and Philadelphia, and he has appeared in the Princeton Packet.

Hebrew/Yiddish calligraphy is a classic Jewish art that never goes out of style. Anything in words can be transformed into Hebrew calligraphy, whether it is a ketubah (Jewish marriage contract), a quote from the Bible, a Yiddish proverb, or a wedding or birth announcement.

All are invited to see this beautiful work which can be customized and personalized.
