Freehold Jewish Center will honor Arnie Silverman as Man of the Year at its 105 gala anniversary on Saturday evening May 7, 2016. Arnie is to be honored for his many years of devotion, commitment and philanthropic contributions to the synagogue at a gala evening of dinner and dance. Arnie also leads the congregation in its Saturday morning services as preliminary Sabbath service reader.
Born in Brooklyn and graduating with a degree in music, he then earned a Masters in Education in Queens College. After three years of teaching, Arnie entered the building business and began a successful real estate career with expertise in residential, commercial and industrial development.
