Alice Levine, Cellist

Ms. Levine will offer a 45 minute program which may include the Appalachia Waltz for Solo Cello by Mark O’Connor and Bach Suites No. 1 and 3 for Solo Cello.

In addition to being an accomplished cellist, Ms. Levine is an educator and composer.  She received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a Master of Music degree from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University.  As a cellist, she has participated in numerous festivals , written songs in the jazz, dub step and
electro-pop genres and as a classical musician, she has performed in a variety of venues and genres.  Ms. Levine has taught in several music schools and maintains a private studio.
