The book that is being discussed this time is the Tin Horse by Janice Steinberg, it is a Fiction book, this discussion is going to be led by Deborah and Cary Cherniss. This book is a story set in the historically Jewish neighborhood of Boyle Heights, California, and modern-day Los Angeles, about twin sisters, one of whom disappears without a trance in 1939. Eldery Elaine, a successful civil rights attorney, revives the memories of growing up with her twin sister Barbra, her parents, her Zayde, her aunts and younger sisters as they bear the disappointments, heartbreaks, and legacy of the immigrant baggage that they have been unable to shed despite settling in southern California, the land of sunshine and opportunity.
