This biography through art will focus on the nine year sojourn (1776-1785) of Benjamin Franklin as the first American envoy to Paris. Enhanced with powerpoint and beautiful graphics, Ms. Zolota will discuss Franklin’s career in Paris, his personal life, his fame and popularity.
Maryann Zolota possesses a BA in Art History from Drew University and an MA in Art History from Rutgers University. She lectures to various community groups and on numerous cruise ships. She currently teaches at Rutgers’ Osher School of Lifelong Learning.
