Twelve-year old Simon Grunberg has much to deal with at a hormonal age, living in Hamburg and ping-ponging between his recently divorced parents. What's more, the family is religiously divided. Plus, Simon has fallen head-over-heels in love wit the new Rabbi, Rebecca, 20 years his senior.

There will be a special appearance via Skype by director Viviane Andereggen, who grew up in her own multinational German-Jewish family. Her films have won awards in Germany, Italy and Spain.
